Conservatives in the House are preparing a document to impeach Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and could file the document as early as Monday, Politico reported Friday afternoon, citing conservative sources on Capitol Hill.

Though it appears House conservatives are seriously ramping up their efforts to boot Rosenstein, the timing of the impeachment filing and the level of support for it among the rest of the GOP caucus are not entirely clear. House Freedom Caucus members Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) and Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), two of Rosenstein’s most vocal critics, are leading the effort

Rosenstein has long been a target of conservatives in Congress unhappy with special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe. Most recently, House Republicans have balked at the Justice Department’s pace in turning over sensitive documents related to the Russia probe to Republicans on Capitol Hill. The FBI has at times tried to limit who sees sensitive info, but as the New York Times reported on Thursday, the White House recently overruled cabinet leaders and ordered that all members of the House be able to see classified material about an FBI informant.

On what grounds? He hasn’t even done anything to get impeached. They know Mueller finna fuck some shit up and they want their own whipping boy in there so they can tear that shit down. Best believe all this is at the behest of Trump.

But if something happens to that Mueller probe, heads are gonna roll. Muthafuckas finna be fucked up either way. They may as well let nature take its course.

GOP Reps. File Articles of Impeachment Against Rod Rosenstein

Multiple Republican members of Congress have filed articles of impeachment against Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein.

Congressman Mark Meadows, chairman of the Freedom Caucus, says the move is being taken because “the DOJ has continued to hide information from Congress and repeatedly obstructed oversight.”

Meadows and Jim Jordan filed the articles of impeachment along with several other members of Congress. As Politico reported yesterday, Republicans have been looking to take action against Rosenstein:

Meadows and a band of Trump allies in the House have regularly floated the possibility of holding Rosenstein in contempt or even seeking his removal through impeachment, accusing him of stonewalling Congress’ ability to obtain documents that shed light on the origins of Russia probe that Mueller now leads.

“I don’t think there is a real appetite for any of us to leave town without getting documents,” Meadows told reporters Tuesday.

My issue with Rosenstein is personal. He fought to deny some of my family and friends appeals off of small ass technicalities. Even though they deserved the relief on their sentences because some things were done wrong on the fed side of their cases because of technicalities in how and when they filed he would fight hard to get their shit denied.

So I HATE his fucking guts for that. Not saying my folks was all innocent but they should've gotten some years off of their sentences and they didn't for petty shit.

Rosenstein ain't going to prison but I wouldn't mind seeing his name and life fucked up

It's sad that we Americans have to lean on someone like him in the tiny hope of getting justice in the Mueller case then.
