This is crazy bruh. If you dont know just say you dont know.

Alot of fucked up kids that turn into fucked up adults are the product of over protective parents. From depression, to turning out anti social, to bi polarism, to extremes like serial killers and child molestors usually come from over protective households. Not saying over protective households are the main reason kids turn fucked up but over protective households are usually a common theme.

Also not saying parents shouldnt be protective either.

The idea is to not go to these extremes. The whole time im saying a father should be invovled in his daughters life and talk to her and teach her and show her he loves her.

The point is going to these extremes does more damage than good.

And fuck all that we cant tell a person that they can or cant tell them about their parenting. If the parent is fucking up we should be able to tell them they are fucking up.

And also not all abuse has to be physical. This shit here is closer to abuse than not.

If he paying for her to be grown at college he has the right to know if she fucking and about to piss away all her opportunities. I’m sure plenty dudes know who her father is. every child is different and responds differently to things.

overprotection helps some and hurts others.

we often dont know when extremes hurt us but we can assume until we know different.

and i am well aware of the many types of abuse. emotional and mental being at the top.

just saying......what we may think is not always what is it.
thats goes for those who felt abused and those who never knew they were abused because it seemed normal.

i dont have a fix all.......thats why i wont fault him for trying.
and again....we dont know to what extent they communicated with each other. we dont know their relationship.

Your last sentence is telling and probably more in line with his thinking. It's not about keeping her safe as much as hes scared of his daughter running into an 18 year old him who will hop on social media and say "i fucked TI's daughter"...but what him and some of yall are missing is this not only won't prevent that but he's now pretty much put a damn target on her back for some little nigga to try

Nobody is saying the concern itself is without merit but how he's going about handling said concern is gonna do more harm than good
