Struggling with alcoholism, Dan Torrance remains traumatized by the sinister events that occurred at the Overlook Hotel when he was a child. Yeah it's a sequel to the shining.

Looks cool I'll peep. This is also done by the same director/producer/writer that made haunting at hill house and ouija and a few others that were good
 
I haven't seen the shining as an adult.. and im pretty sure I didnt understand it fully as a kid. i gotta rewatch.

As a kid I didn't get the ending with Jack Nicholson ending up in that picture lol
 
I enjoyed the movie. I read the book the year it came out. They changed some things and left out some character development but I liked what they did. A lot of it did come from the book but they also made it a continuation from the shinning the movie instead of the shinning the book.
 
I watched it the last time I flew out to Cali. I had not expectations going in because I knew nothing about it. I was pleasantly surprised by the movie. I didn't know it was connected to the Shining, but it turned out to be a very good movie.
