COMMUNITY Do you think you could really notice if you were being followed?🤔

No. I was working at an afterhours and one morning as me and my boy were driving out the parking lot after work cops stopped us. Addressed us by our full names and asked us how the afterhours was. They wanted us to know they were watching us heavy.

I've definitely learned to spot the undercovers over the years but for every one you catch there's two you probably don't.
 
I'm very observant, I try to not have strangers walking too close to me for extended periods of time, always on the swivel.....and I know for a fact(because something happened obviously) that someone was watching me for weeks if not months and I had no idea.

So nah it depends on whose doing it
 
If it is a crowded area, none of yall are catching no one. Like a city during the day with a bunch of tourist around. Especially if the person doesnt stand out. I know i wouldn't

If im at a park, I tend to people watch If im sitting down. I would notice someone following me in that setting.

My nerves bad man, if I see the same car headlights behind me or near me as I'm heading to my destination, I'll veer off somewhere or spin the block. Keep following me, I wonder if you ass will continue to follow me as I pull up in this target parking lot or Shell Gas station.

I've passed up my own home and other houses many of times when I noticed a car or truck tailing me.

I hate when someone hit me up and be on some "I just saw you walk out of such and such store" shit burns me, I get in the car upset, like fuck, I'm slipping lol

Especially since a PI is usually hired by someone close to you and they're told what you like to do and what your daily routine is like, etc.

If they know 8am you at Starbucks almost every day, they don't have to follow you close, cause they know where you're going.
 
I'm normally on point at watching my surroundings, I doubt a PI would be able to follow me long enough without being noticed.

With that said tho, technology is advanced in 2025. A nigga can record you 2 blocks away.

but since them niggas tried to kill me I be a lil extra noid in public




it's easier to see if you're bein trailed in a car, like @Knock_Twice said if I'm turning into the neighborhood & a car behind me I won't turn on my street & spin the block




out in a crowd is more difficult, if I see the same face at different places that will raise suspicions

PI's are so hyperfocused on whatever they're doing that they miss when people (like myself) observe them.

Back in the 90's I spotted one in the parking lot of the plaza the musical instruments shop I worked at was located. Dude had a camera with a loooong ass lens on it trying to take shots of someone across the parking lot. I sat there and watched dude for prolly 5 minutes, went back in and told one of the managers about it. He chuckled about it talmbout dude was prolly hired by an insurance company cause they suspected fraud. Other manager overheard us, got mad and was like "Fuck that, I'm tellin him to leave". We watched Mike get all the way up on dude's car door without the PI even noticing, yelled at him to "get the fuck outta here!", and see the dude looking shook as fuck and bounce.

It depends.

If I go to my old neighborhood, my senses are heightened and I'm watching everything.

But if I'm in a safe area and I'm chilling and someone sends a PI to watch me, I would have no clue cause my mind won't be looking for that shit.

Yes I would.

Only way they might get the drop is if they do like TV and have MULTIPLE ppl following me and switching off to tail me.

I do martial arts and im very aware of my surroundings at all times. I mean like looking at windows to see reflections of ppl around me while just walking casually.

A car following me def would notice and I do this like clock work when on foot I walk fast and randomly stop and change directions if I even feel the feeling someone is on me.

Grew up in the hood so always had to he aware of the stick up boys and people moving different.

When I go to a restaurant I sit in a position where I can see the entrance and have a clear view of whats around me and make sure to find all exits.

Call it paranoid call it smart. I got trust issues and don't play around with strangers.
