yeah i fundamentally don't understand why the 2nd DCU film had to be THIS close to Superman lore when we're already getting Man of Tomorrow next year.

Shoulda gave this spot to Teen Titans because introducing Robin lays the groundwork for DCU Batman and no they can't fucking wait until Matt Reeves finishes his trilogy in 2047

Well they are doing a Clayface movie which to me would be the same as runnin a teen titan film. Neither makes sense cause there ain’t gonna be a Batman in Gunn’s universe lol

What are they laying a groundwork for??? Gunn pullin a Sony right now cause Reeves don’t want his Batman near Gunn’s shit

Thinking more on it I didn't really care about revenge tour. She also really annoyed me when Kara told her to stay somewhere and she didn't. It's like she replaced the dog/kid that doesn't listen. Like you've seen that Kara can handle a lot and yet you keep ignoring her. The more I think about it the more it annoyed me lol

Clayface is low budget horror, which looks prescient in a world where Obsession and Backrooms are running shit. They got a scene in that movie where he has to cut open his eyelids on a plane.....with turbulence......Bruh lol. Gunn going back to his Body Horror roots with that one.

Sony owns Spidey's film rights, the MCU basically exists BECAUSE they didn't have Spider-Man film rights. Batman has no legal fight, just one director trying to give another director room to work. Weird comparison.

Reeves Batman is a street-level detective mystery. That's the whole point. You're not supposed to make Justice League stories around that version of Batman.

Can you imagine trying to do.....the full Hush storyline with Reeves Batman? With Poison Ivy mind-controlling Superman and all that? Nah. Robert Pattinson raising Damien Wayne? Nah. Bat-Family? Nah. Ra's Al Ghul resurrecting niggas with the Lazarus Pit? Nah.

That's what you're laying the groundwork for.....a Batman with a Bat-Family that regularly whoops Metahuman ass.

Teen Titans would've been a good starting point because Robin is ALWAYS the realest nigga in the squad and the aura of "who trained this fuckin guy" is always there when he flexes on niggas. You would be introducing Batman without showing him. And considering Brave and the Bold is supposed to be about Damien Wayne, you NEED to introduce a previous Robin. Like.......Chris O'Donnell is still the only live action Robin we've ever gotten. That's nuts. And no that corny ass policeman from Dark Knight Rises doesnt count lol

Wow I didnt expect you to get super passionate about this.

Is Clayface not a Batman villain? Does he appear in other DC properties that aren't primarily Batman centric in some kinda way? You talkin bout the type of film, I'm talkin about who Clayface is in relation to DC.

And comparing this to the SONY / Spiderman situation isnt a weird at all ----- Gunn using any Batman characters in any shape or form with no actual Batman around is very much the same play as Sony creating an entire cinematic universe using Spiderman villains while Spiderman himself aint walkin through that door. Which ironically now that I think about it Spiderman COULD have appeared in those Sony films. But they didnt include him cause 1. Feige didnt want Holland in those wack ass Sony films and 2. they knew that having 2 cinematic Spidermans runnin around would have been carny as fuck. Cause they could have easily brought in Andrew. This is exactly why Gunn isnt trying to have 2 cinematic Batmen.

The truth is Gunn overplayed his hand putting a Batman movie on his vision board before even knowing if Reeves was gonna want his Batman in the mix. It was Reeves who passed on that cause their visions don’t mesh. We not getting The Batman 2 til 2027 and who knows when the 3rd movie will ever come out. The way shit is going right now Gunn would be lucky if his DC universe even makes it that far.

I knew this shit was gon be bad when they decided to put another champion of Fetal Alcohol Syndrome as the lead.

They trying hard to make the cracker equivalent to crack baby’s socially acceptable.

Cinemark charged me for a ticket to this movie. They claimed I bought a ticket on the app for Friday at 6 at a theater two hours from me. Im waiting for an email and refund.
