OUT NOW Crimson Desert

Added to Calendar: 03-19-26

I’d let them get the patches out before I just throw the game away.. yep shouldn’t have to be this way but this also reminded me of cyberpunk when it first came out and eventually became a great game. I shouldn’t have jumped the gun buying it (still having played it btw) but I was on a high from RE9 that I said fuck it instead of waiting for a review 😩.

Yeah I would say hold out for the patches if the game isn't a must have right now. I remember I bought Cyberpunk on day 1 and didn't play it until 2 years later after it was patched up because it was so bad on release. The latest patch did make inventory storage possible which is a huge improvement in itself. I was kinda on a similar high right before. I had just finished RE9.....figured I'd just replay Sekiro until Crimson released....which turned out to bad because I started comparing the combat between the two.

I bought CP on release day (which is very uncommon for me) but I needed something from typical GTA online that I stayed playing for years.. was so disappointed, it wasn’t till maybe shortly after the Liberty whatever DLC came out I had a coworker of mine telling me for awhile man its gotten better just give it another try etc, I kept putting it off till I had another time between jobs that I said hell with it and gave it a try… it what it should have been at launch I never purchased the DLC, maybe Crimson might end up the same once enough patches are put out…seems to be mixed reviews some still love it even with its fault and some downright hate it 🤷🏾‍♂️.
 
If a game has to take a year to be good then it is trash period. I am not a DD fan or Harry Potter fan, but both BG3 and Hogwarts had me enjoying them from the beginning. BG3 had a ton of updates, but the game was not broken when I bought it on PS5. It does not take 30 hours to enjoy a game. My issue is the people crying over social media that this game, which has a good Metacritic ironically are upset that it did not score higher and if you have to wait for a game to get good then clearly there is something very wrong with the game,.

They have been attacking the media even though the user score on Metacritic is the same. If you enjoy the game then have fun. Reviews should not matter. Days Gone got a lower score and I really enjoyed the game and got the platinum. My only issue was the lesbian chick from IGN complaining that the character was not gay LOL. Now that type of criticism is stupid, but Crimson Desert is being criticized legitimately. Companies like EA and Ubisoft do not get the same pass for the game to get fixed like this company is getting.

Sorry for the rant, but its annoying going on YouTube and I am bombarded with videos like "Crimson Desert is a masterpiece if you do not give up, do not quit playing". Like STF man, everybody does not have to like the game.

lol this matches alot of what I’ve seen about this game

They want this game to be good so bad and if someone else made this game it would be shitted on

Idk why it’s different when it comes to this game tbh

It gets good after 8 hours is crazy

That’s almost the length of a resident evil game

I would only allow this for certain 40-60 hr JRPGs and even then it can’t have

bad controls, a non existent story, bugs, horrible puzzles that might take 30 mins to finish, etc

I do appreciate this though

This like the first big thing in gaming this year on some mindseye shit lol
