Can trust be rebuilt?

So tell me, when trust is broken in a relationship can it ever truly be rebuilt? What does it take if so? (for any type of relationship family, friends, ect.)

It really depends on the person.

I've learned to not place my expectations on people tho....people gonna be who they gonna be.

I think it would be tough for me though.
If I feel like if you screwed me once,, it just isn't logical to place you back in that same position

trust, like any other situation in life is what you make of it

you can make it simple or difficult

if you really want to trust this person again, you can...you just have to decide that you are prepared for the work that it will take

if you dont want to trust them again, then that is your decision

things wont be the same? is that really a bad thing? What if its a good thing to not go back to the way things were?
