Can hiphop be like this again?

Can we ever get this raw feeling back in hiphop again? Im not gonna sit here and say hiphop is bad right now. I just must that element of hiphop that made it stand out on its own. Not everyone could relate to this raw element in hiphop back then which was a good thing because it was harder to make it commercial. If you were an outsider and didnt understand what was going on, this kind of energy might scare you. Not saying people were trying to keep out "outsiders" but it was a lil tougher to market hiphop to the mainstream in its raw form.

It was beautiful time to be alive, but it will never be like that again. The environment we live in now is totally different. Every man for themselves
we invest in others more than ourselves, chump is in office and the shitty economy. Oh, and these new rappers dressing and looking like they came out of a MAC store. That all has an effect on the music we have today
