Can’t agree I have watched both of those shows more than once and I still love themLooking back at Breaking Bad, I don't like it as much.
I feel the same way about The Wire.
The longer the shows went on, the sillier it got.

Walt started the show blowing up a room he was standing in by the penultimate epWell yeah people tend remember the feeling they had when they were watching their favorite show or listening to their favorite artists over re-evaluating their favorite media from a critical perspective.
Breaking Bad was grew sillier and sillier towards the end.
Walter blowing up a hospital to kill one person - silly.
Walter's playing Zodiac Killer with his brother-in-law - silly.
Walter shaving his head and walking around like a bad ass and acting like a dick when he's too afraid to even pick up a gun? Silly.
Only way the show worked was by making Walter the smartest character in the show and all the other criminals were bumbling idiots, outsmarted and out maneuvered by Walter.
But his dumbass brother-in-law is able to put two and two together?
I like the show, but it's a very middle class White bread male fever dream of what being a drug dealer is like.
After my most recent BB rewatch, I can see parallels between Walt and Gus from BCS in this they always managed to find a way when their backs were against the wallI been on some BB and BCS rewatch shit lately
Funny how Lalo was Gus’ biggest challenge .
By the time you get to BB Gus has already checkmated the cartel.
It seemed like Gus was under pressure, but he was playing them like fiddle.
Saul too and NachoAfter my most recent BB rewatch, I can see parallels between Walt and Gus from BCS in this they always managed to find a way when their backs were against the wall
Looking at how Gus handled Lalo I think I get it.One of my favorite scenes from my most recent rewatch is when Gus goes to the hospital to basically give Jesse time off to tend to Brock
He goes back to his car and nothing appears out of place yet, he's super suspicious and just watches... Like a terminator scanning for something
Then just dips. Like does he really sense something is off or is this just convenient writing to foil Walters plans
Either way, just a great scene with tension
Just started a re-watch of BB and Walt has been a complete asshole up to this point. From lying to Skylar, manipulating Jesse, even talking that shit to Gretchen. Mans already had it in his mind to start a drug empire early on, cancer or not.Walter was the the most selfish character on the show
he hid his selfishness behind the guise of his family, when in reality, he was driven by power and the ability to control and manipulate people. Walt's character is probably one of the best 5 in the past decade of TV, but dude was a POS when you really think about it
dont @ me either
They didThey never went into detail about why Walt left Gray Matter. I just assumed it was because of Gretchen.
I remember something about stealing his research or somethingThey did
I'ma have to think back but they did
It was about Gretchen and his feelings of inadequacies about her coming from a well off familyI remember something about stealing his research or something
Smh Walt moving backwardsIt was about Gretchen and his feelings of inadequacies about her coming from a well off family
