COMMUNITY Android users assemble!!!

i've said it before and i'll say it again.

android looks ugly as fuck; fonts, ui, everything. ugly.

6 years later, I figure I’d come back and update what I was saying.

My argument still stands today. I think the way android looks compared to iOS is ugly as fuck and that’s ok. I wasn’t trying to shit on customization although I can see how it looks that way. My opinion on how android looks was based off preference. I prefer the look and UI of iOS.

What I didn’t do in my posts at the time was shit on how robust & versatile the operating system is as a whole. After owning the Ayn Thor for 2 weeks and fuckin around with it to get it to run various emulators and roms correctly, I’m impressed with a lot. It’s dope to see how hard the community goes to push its limits.

I can't speak to your experience especially since I'm not sure if you had a pure android experience vs Android underneath say the Samsung UI.

But also, maybe you've had the pure experience and still feel the same but for me, ever since I ditched non Google phones, my pure android experience is much better cause it's not buried under UIs and bloat.

Not sure the point of me sharing this but just wanted to share nonetheless.

My initial experience with Android was with a company phone back in 2012. I really wasn’t speaking on anything for real outside of aesthetics back when I made the post in 2019. I couldn’t weigh in on performance differences between pure android and non.

But I’ve heard the same thing about the pure android experience from other people

So would you say the pixel 10 is better than the s25? Or just the camera

Im leaning towards the pixel being better. The s25 is coo but I don't like all the extra shit Samsung puts on their OS. Pixel feels smoother and the camera is way better. I can't speak to battery life but the s25 ain't no slouch in that regard
