im curious how thats going to play out. Earlier in the episode they made it seem like he couldnt fill out a venue and the concert sales were ass.. but at the end the dude that used to be in the band said they were about to blow up.

From the movie Akasha only showed up when the music was too loud to ignore I thought

Yeah, in the movie it made it seemed like she woke up cuz she could hear the music.
In the books, Marius literally rolled a TV into her tomb to play his music videos... Then was surprised that she woke up. She's 8,000 years old, she never saw a fucking TV before. I'm sure the show will have their own explanation. As much as I love the books... There was lotta questionable stuff that the show has seemed to go in other directions.... So I don't think that's really a spoiler. I have no belief that they will do something a stupid as have Marius play her the videos.....I just don't feel that fits this narrative style.

Not sure what they're going to do with Gabrielle. Like Du said they're going a different route. Curious what it is. I think the only similarity is the going with the flow and doing whatever she wants

Lestat telling his own version of his transformation and making it more light was a nice touch. Kind of stockholm syndrome-ish. Then in the car when he's reliving it

Lestat is such an interesting character. Pretty fucked up that he got violated on his way to becoming a vampire. I thought it was a nice creative decision to have that going on while Louis was detailing how Claudia had her own terrible experience with Killer/Bruce

Gabriella getting fucked by Lestat's doppelganger was hilarious
 
Also..... When the Internet does death battles and involves Lestat or Akasha .....

Lestat just pulled off some professor X shit with making Daniel think that he broke down like that in camera...
