Rewatching..... Toronto is the episode where Dr Fareed said he witnesses a class B vampire go 2-3 hours decapitated.... Lestat could go 5 times that.....

So they're definitely still alive.... Louis prolly 7-8 minutes my estimation. Lestat well over 10 mins

Lestat wasn't there in the books. Plus he wanted it ... He was like yes... Give me your rage

They pretty much said as much... Louis even realized the video was in the Sun.... And Lestat was like, eh, explains the tan.... Like no fucks given
 
@Duwop so how come Armand is able to day walk but Lestat, with the blood of Akasha in him can’t? I would think he’d be more inclined to be able to.

It might be a taught ability.. He probably can, just never took the time to learn. In the books, he typically carried a tan by doing exactly what Daniel did.
 






I'm surprised there aren't more complaints in that thread. Wondering if they just accepted that it's going in different directions
 
My philosophy.

You do not watch the books.
You read the books.
You watch the TV show.

If you want to watch the books, read them again.. The TV show will never be the books.

But the character development in this show is majestic.
