A.I. Is Taking Your Job

Hell no lol Scandinavian countries got their shit together

I’m going off Elon Musk saying that the plan to deal with ppl who lose their jobs to tech and AI will be an universal basic income
Meaning the govt will decide what they think is a proper amount for you to live on

Which is what happens in Cuba

Elon said he supported UBI? I never heard that, but a UBI of some sort is going to be absolutely necessary if corporations keep pushing to replace people with AI and tech.

Capitalism, Socialism, Communism, none of those will work in the future. The shift way from human labor means that we will become a resource-based world...again ironically.

Man I’m worried about Ali doing police work. AI thought a young black kid brought a gun to school but it was some chips.

Shit like this is why some people want to socialize everything. Basically, the country loves Amazon. Amazon make tons of money off the people and then screws over the people to increase profits. Cities give huge subsidies to Amazon to bring distribution hubs to their areas because of the jobs the hubs bring in. Now, Amazon is taking those subsidies and eliminating the jobs. I wonder if those cities will cancel the subsidies.

AI isn't nearly as good as is being marketed, which is why it's crazy all these companies are so gung-ho about switching over to it. It's not even about saving money at this point because that hasn't been the case for a lot of the early adopters. These companies really just don't like people.
Didnt a story or something come out a while ago saying, all these big company Ceo's basically blindly copy each other. When 1 giant company starts laying off people others follow assuming that first company knows something they dont. Doing the same thing with AI then quietly walking it back.

Good example of what i said. Calmly layed-off mad people just cause. Really seems like he just did what everyone else was doing

Amazon’s CEO has finally spoken up about the company’s 14,000 layoffs earlier this week, and he claims the motive was not at all financial.

Speaking during the company’s quarterly earnings call Thursday, CEO Andy Jassy said laying off those employees was about a mismatched cultural fit—and nothing else.

“The announcement that we made a few days ago was not really financially driven, and it’s not even really AI-driven, not right now at least,” he said about the job cuts. “It’s culture.”
