Tyler Herro is a legitimately good shooter, not just on the catch but off the dribble as well which is valuable

The problem with Herro is he was paid, treated and miscast a franchise building blocks player and thats not his fault but with that comes expectations he was never going to meet

He doesnt defend, hes a scorer that doesnt get to the rim or draw fouls so he's limited in that role, he's not a good enough playmaker for others to really be your point guard

He should be like your 3rd or 4th best player depending on the rest of the team

No I'm just saying what he is as a basketball player

He was grossly overpaid and you arent going anywhere with Herro and Bam as your two best players but Miami was stuck with him because that was seen as a negative value contract across the league

I'm not a Herro fan unless its for way less money and severely reduced role

Who tf is talking about Cam Thomas? lol If Herro's shot ain't falling, he has little impact besides spacing. FOH with them boo boo rebounds.

Give me a 3 level scorer, and I'll worry about his shooting splits later.

We are talking analytics and then you brought up Tyler and I said outside of defense, Tyler is analytically a pretty strong player due to his efficiency and when you catergorize him as a “volume shooter” it implies that

1. He’s inefficient like so many volume shooters

2. He impacts nothing outside of scoring

I debunked everything with facts

That’s it 😌

lol my man I said twice now that I already acknowledge Tyler’s defensive shortcomings

He makes up for that by being efficient and providing value outside of scoring which a lot of players cannot say

lol I did and then you came back with Cam Thomas and Jordan Poole babble. Maybe we see efficiency differently. IMO if you are not good on both sides of the ball, you are not that efficient. I AM OK WITH THAT. Go get me a bucket when I need it.
