Been hearing a lot of Beringer stuff as far as trades and nobody knows if he’s actually good due to him not playing lol

I can't give Milwaukee ownership/front office a pass for not admitting the inevitable to themselves the past 2+ years when everyone could see the writing on the wall but if giannis has made it known he wants to be traded and has seemingly only given Milwaukee 2 options to trade with essentially blocking other deals miami and boston have to put godfather offers on the table if they're serious. Thats a franchise altering player with no looming injuries, still in his prime. Im not giving him up for pennies on the dollar just because he isn't happy. Giannis isn't turning down that player option next summer regardless of where he is so if im Milwaukee we dragging this shit out. Theres no reconciliation coming. We here and Milwaukee is already guaranteed to come out on the losing side of this shit so someone gotta pay unless giannis is prepared to burn another season and a half of his career and legacy cosplaying as the good guy/victim in this situation.

He was injured for the whole first round in 2023 and in 2024 he missed games

Giannis isn’t even a guarantee to people to lead your team far right now due to Injuries starting to accumulate and he’s getting older and his game relies on athleticism ala Blake griffin

He’s still in his prime but trading for him has a bit of risk involved. It could be overstated though but with that in mind nobody is trying to bet the farm on having him from ages 32-36

Cause Giannis created that ecosystem. Portland is/was fully prepared to give Milwaukee a haul and their frp's back. He made it known if he got traded to Portland there was zero chance he'd extend. Same with golden state. There are no other teams offering anything significant because Giannis made it so.

Didn’t say this but giannis is increasingly getting less reliable even if it’s a little bit

I know we look at Lebron and KD and curry etc

But there’s no way to know for sure that giannis is going to be effective to be worth what you gave up even 2 years from now. Sure he’ll be good but there’s still the fear of the unknown

Let’s say the trade doesn’t happen, they could still give up significantly less and then trade for Ja if they wanted to and keep majority of their assets and see what shakes out in the next year

The Heat aren’t really in a huge rush outside of having to move tyler

Bam during next year’s FA turns 30
