Had to. The truth of the matter is that Latinos have embarrassed themselves on worse levels than Black people politically. So have Asians. Both groups have been trying to leave Black people behind as if white people are saving a seat for them in the oppression Olympics.
Just dumb as fuck. They hate seeing Black people with any political power more strongly than they oppose Republicans.
Fuck em.
From what I've read he casted a bigger net with trying to reach anyone and everyone. She seemed to focus more on black and young votersCrockett cast concerns about her electability in a red state as racist dog whistles, and she called a pro-Talarico super PAC’s ad citing the apparent GOP preference for her nomination “straight up racist” and accused the ad of darkening her skin. The ad applied a dark filter throughout, including over other people pictured. Campaigns cannot legally coordinate with super PACs, and Talarico has repeatedly emphasized his respect for Crockett.
The racial tensions tearing the primary apart were amplified by political content creators from around the country, who waged a vicious online proxy war on behalf of their preferred candidates.
Crockett’s supporters online depicted Talarico as anti-Black, pointing to an accusation made by a TikTok creator that he referred to former congressman and 2024 Democratic Senate nominee Colin Allred as a “mediocre Black man.” Talarico disputed the allegation, saying he criticized Allred’s campaigning but would “never attack him on the basis of race.”
Republicans, too, fanned the division and made no secret of their belief that Crockett would be easier to beat in November. Cornyn called Crockett’s decision to run a “gift,” and Talarico’s potential nomination “dangerous.”
So did she lose the position she's currently in or just the ability to rise up to senator? She was running to be a Senator, she's currently a Representative or was. Difference between running in her district and running the entire state of Texas
Her House term ends in JanuarySo did she lose the position she's currently in or just the ability to rise up to senator?
I have intentionally been quiet in the political threads because this is what people wanted. They wanted to leave Black people behind. They wanted to co-opt our movements. They wanted to benefit off of our struggle and political gain.
They are full of shit and now more than ever, Black people are less engaged politically than we’ve ever been since fighting for OUR rights.
That’s why watching the reaction of white people specifically after Mamdani won or after Black politicians lose like Kamala or Jasmine Crockett, they’re telling on themselves. They’re showing you that they prioritize keeping Black people behind them more than actually defeating Republicans.
Think about every Black political win. Even down to shit like Bob Johnson owning BET or Black artist winning Oscars or Grammys. In this century and ESPECIALLY after Obama was elected, we’ve all seen the energy around Black progress……altered……We’ve now gone so far that we are being lumped in a POC which is….bullshit
These same people will try and lecture us about their own MAGA family members as if us knowing that is not supposed to have an impact on how we view them. I’m sorry, but you said you have MAGA family members? Fuck ALL of y’all.
The audacity of people to think that Black people aren’t smart enough to see that bullshit that is being pulled in front of us.
Like…….hello?
We are the originators of people fucking with our livelihoods. To think that in 2026 that white liberals of all people think that Black people can’t see what you’re up to? We see y’all raggedy asses and we ain’t stepping in to help shit.
Y’all got it. Until you don’t……….
The Republicans were the first to fuck her over with their attempt to re-draw the district maps which would have pushed her out, so she choose to run for the senate. Then the courts struck down the new Texas maps, so her seat is open.So did she lose the position she's currently in or just the ability to rise up to senator?
