2026: Back to the randomness

Yea, like that
Okay okay

Well I usually say We

We need to go home
We need to hurry before missing the bus

Then after the task is completed, whether it is successful or not, I then say I

We need to hurry to the bus
Damn I missed it, I’m so stupid

We need to go home
I made it home after the long day

So you only identify with the results? That’s harsh bruh. Gotta work on that

Yeah :-(

I really do always say WE, even now
Until I complete the task with the result

I’ll say

It’s 1pm and We still have not ate anything.

Sometimes I may say I but it’s always We. Sometimes when I think of stuff I been through or did not complete I say “I we I” or “We I we” as if I am trying to correct myself

It’s 5 Pm and we did not mop the floor like we said we will do earlier.

Or it may go

“It’s 5Pm and We did not mop the floor like I said I we will do earlier”

The best thing is that you are aware of it, and little by little you can be mindful of it and make progress on adding “I” to the effort and adding “we” to the results as being a collaborative part of a challenging outcome, instead of shouldering it all.

Broke motherfuckers

Im talking about in Bermuda. Aint no incentives anymore as far as I know.

I was looking into it for the crib but when I had the people come out to give a quote they were saying even if you had solar, if the power goes out, even with the panels on the roof you would be out of power as well because you are still connected to the grid/electric company. Its a safety issue if you are generating power and guys are out on the utility poles trying to restore power and there is voltage coming from the panels or something.

The only way its feasible is if you are storing your own power and there is a switchoff that stops the feed from going back to the external grid

I hear you. I don't have a power bank. When I got my solar, those were still expensive. They are cheaper now, so I probably will get one in the near future.

I would think Bermuda would be perfect for solar panels, but without good availability, infrastructure, and funding, it would be hard to get the to people at a reasonable price.

if the power goes out, do you have it to where your home is still powered or is it offline cuz you are connected to your grid as well?

It goes straight to the grid. I don't think there were any options for having them power your house straight off solar power when I got mine. Your options were back to the grid or into a batter that costed half the price of the panels. The tech is improving fast though. Now they got solar shingles that can feed directly into your house, though I think the are less efficient than the big panels.

your electric company pays yall back for excess power that you generate? They recently dropped the price of energy generated by solar that they would pay out to folks here which is some bullshit

Yep. They're supposed to pay out automatically once a year, but they never seem to do it. So you have to call them and tell them you want it, and they'll send you a check. I ain't gonna lie. I be using them like a bank and just letting it build. I remember once I was going on a trip and didn't feel like spending my money, so I got them to send me the $500 they owed me and used that to buy my plane ticket.

thats dope as long as you can see how much you are generating and how much you are owed whenever you want. I fuck wit that

Yeah, they include the breakdown in the bill. Plus my panels came with an app the tells me how much I produce each day, so I can check their numbers if I ever need to.
