2026: Back to the randomness

He's gambled his wealth with his companies and so far has won

He's the perfect example of how money makes and protects money. Over the past 5 or so years, he's made the kind of mistakes that should have destroyed his companies, but he has enough money that he can eat losses and keep on going until things turn around. It's not like he's been some great business man. It wasn't that long ago that he had the biggest drop in value in a single day in history.

It doesn't bother me like it does a lot on here

I just hate that people idolize billionaires...

I don't have an issue with the actual billionaires themselves.... Just those that worship them.

How do people idolize or worship them? Many want to become a billionaire but that's as the title and not the person

The automatic assumption of intelligence or some special ability that nobody else can have. The assumption that because they're rich inherently their opinions are more important and impactful. The far off fantasy of "im not going to support *insert idea here* because if I get rich it might affect me.

There are 3,428 billionaires in the world. The number has been growing. So that kind of kills the first one

Jay Z, Kanye, Dre, and Diddy are billionaires. I guess I have seen extremely high opinions and praise of Jay on here

I don't really understand your last one

It doesn't kill the 1st one at all. People do assume that having money means you're smart. Look at the people who still defend Elon Musk as if he's personally writing formulas and creating concepts.

The last one is something I can only speak of from a US perspective but the idea that just one day you might be rich too drives alot of people's pov in this country and determines decisions they make socially, politically etc...at times to the detriment of their current position in life

People nitpick how billionaires get their money and if they weren't the ones doing some type of detail then they'll say they didn't earn it or something else

The 2nd one has been basically the cornerstone since the beginning. People coming here to have a better life

I view billionaires like one punch man....

There's no doubt that they're doing something right... But if you ask them, they'll likely say some shit along the lines of

And people will just fucking do it and never know why they can't get the same results.

Not to jump in the debate here, but how does there being 3000+ billionaires worldwide mean that it's not something seen as exclusive to people that are highly intelligent or talented?

They're not doing anything right. They just cheat. That's the long and short of it, and it's on display now more than it has ever been.

Nah I gotta issue with them too. Especially if they're not bussing it down properly. The only reason you should want to attain such wealth is to give back to the people. If you're not doing that then you're worst than a pig you're a hog and pigs get fed, hogs get slaughtered.

Those same billionaires are the reason your gas high, your utility bills high, your groceries high, why you pray you don't gotta go to the hospital or fix something wrong with your car, why the price of simple entertainment is high.

What you mean you don't have an issue?

Yall better wake it tf up. They got us busy in a never-ending fight of left va right, whose thumbs yall think they're under?🤦🏿

Not coming at you directly just saying this in general @Duwop I just hate when people say that shit. THOSE THE OPS. We have to start having a problem with a lot of them.

Yep. Not just the Billionaires, but a lot of rich people in general. I don't have a problem with rich people in general. However, some of them actively do things to make life worse for others just to increase their bottom line. That has to stop.

The assumption that, because you're of high intelligence, then you should be rich, if not wealthy, is 100% bullshit. There are far more members of MENSA, Intertel, and Triple 9 that live "normal" lives than those that are millionaires or billionaires.

Sure, but that doesn't stop people from believing that if you are a billionaire you must be really good at something. It's inconceivable to a lot of people that an incompetent person could become a billionaire.
