The point isn't to get rich

It's to get the free money which is why the odds are so low

1000+ games where he's scored 10pts, you would be crazy to assume he wouldn't

You started the day with 10k but could've earned an extra 500 betting on something that almost always happens

The bolded is what I don't understand.


For a few thousand dollars it makes sense, but not for a few hundred dollars.

also since Shai doesn’t play most 4th quarters he’s gets all the minutes , which essentially has he playing dam near starter minutes at 26-27 so his development is super accelerated

Put it like this

On your way to Walmart, you know all the traffic lights.

If someone told you to make a bet that the light will turn green, you would more than likely take it because it has turned green every single day of your life on your way to Walmart

You have NO reason to think it will not turn green on this particular trip. So you take the bet cause it's easy money until you get up to the light and for some reason, it doesn't turn green. It turns yellow or red. That's it.

LeBron scoring 10pts is the green light

You also gotta separate parlays and prop bets from straight bets. Real gamblers don't take parlays. Well I'll say most don't as there are too many variables at play. My homeboy plays the long game and doesn't make bets he can't win. Ofc he'll lose every blue moon but he make that shit right back in a week or less
