Well then its the Hawks because they've played and won more games without trae than Orlando without Paolo.

I agree with yall, but if you compare skillset to skillset, I think Trae can make adjustments to his style that fits what the Hawks are doing way easier than Paolo can make adjustments.

I'm not saying Trae better or Trae will be willing to make the adjustments and take a reduced role. But Trae's skillset can still work to make the Hawks better.

Paolo on the other hand might not be able to fit with the Magic period.

I agree but someone derailed my thought process. Simply put the Hawks are better with or without trae than the magic are with or without Paolo rn.

Hawks were already better than the magic last year but injuries set them back.

I don't necessarily blame Paolo tho. Magic need a coach with a different outlook. I'd sell on mosley before I sell on Paolo.

That said fiscally it would probably be the smarter move to sell on Paolo rn cause Franz is performing well and clearly better suited as a 4.

I was saying their shooting and defense is better than the magic. Not that they are a better shooting team without trae. Trae would obviously make their offense more dynamic he limits their potential defensively tho.

I agree. Talent is the hardest commodity to get in the league and when you trade a single talented player, you almost never get back fair value.

I would try to make it work with Paolo before I gave up on him. He's young as fuck and he's super talented, he just doesn't fit the team since him and Franz do the same things but Franz does it better.

I would fire the coach and try for another season minimum before I tried shipping out talent.
