No sport is perfect. Even the NFL as popular as it is. NFL benefits from scarcity. So they can get away with a lot of shit cause fans love they dirty drawls.

NFL teams tank and you never hear a peep. It’s only being brought up now because nba “fans” don’t wanna watch it for 25 more games.
 
The funny thing is the only NBA teams that are blatantly tanking to the point people notice is the Jazz and pacers

Two teams nobody watches anyways so why the fuck are you complaining?

Kings are doing an incredible tank job as well but nobody cares to even notice

Coincidentally the teams that are getting attention for tanking owe draft picks to other teams.

This has been going on since the Philly FEDS era.

It was pretty egregious then but it feels like it was post AS break

Difference is kings didn't set out to tank. They were really trying to win games with that roster. Now they're tanking by default.

Sort of how we ended up tanking last year but a lot less laughable. We picked up Ingram for Bruce brown, olynyk and a pick.

They got DeAndre hunter for keon Ellis, Schroder, saric and a 2nd round pick.

They're gonna be bad for a while.

Facts!

I also think in basketball 1 player can drastically change the trajectory of a franchise more than any other team sport.
