I know it's preseason, but you can tell the difference in yesterday's game. Lawson will be missed badly.

I believe coupon Joe will get a good edge rusher for the cheap

How yall feel about Zack so far? I know it's only pre season and he's been going against the 2nd string, but he looks composed and in control of the offense. I would like to see them try some deep shots this week.

Yea. Its preseason and all the defenses are pretty vanilla. But kid's pretty damn good so far.

And imo it's clear as day, that he has a much higher ceiling than Sam Darnold.

Zach passes the eye test, he jus looks better out there. You can tell the ball comes outta his hand w a certain zip and velocity. He is a great thrower of the football. And he appears to be able to make the tight difficult throws. And has a strong, accurate arm for the deep throws.

And unlike Sam, I think he has a better mental make up or disposition. Like if Sam made a by bad throw or a pick. He would appear sometimes to fold. But I think zach has the confidence and mental make up to push thru bad plays or the occasional bad game. I wouldnt go as far as to say zach is a killer. But I think he has the potential to be one.

I think if you put both QBs in the same offense w the same players n coaches. Zach will do much better than Sam. He jus has greater skill, upside and natural ability.

Now the 200 million dollar question is, when we are down 4 in the 4th quarter vs buffalo/Miami/ NE with 2 minutes left. Is zach good enough to lead us on a gm winning drive? And ofcourse bigger picture, are we good enough to make (or atleast be in the hunt) the 7th seed?
