2021/22 NBA Season Thread

Bam with 30 and 17 against one of the best defenders at his position in the league

Also quiet as kept, Kyle Lowry has barely contributed anything offensively since he’s been back but the team is deep enough that it hasn’t mattered

With Vic not playing tomorrow gabe and Strus can get their mins back..I also saw that Caleb’s injury is only a hyperextension so he’ll be back next week.

Here’s hoping markieff plays tomorrow because Pj could use some rest. But maybe against the thunder

We gonna lose tomorrow though we struggle against the wolves

I have to get this disclaimer out first because it’s too many folks on here who take stuff too serious/personally. Lol.

I’m not trying to make jokes at any fan base expense with this question……. It’s just a question

Does anyone find it kinda peculiar that James Harden didn’t sign the extension in enough time once he was traded? Also, what are the odds James leaves via free agency if things don’t go well in the playoffs and he doesn’t play well? I don’t know if James is built to take the criticism he will face from Philly fans if he doesn’t play well ln the playoffs

The reporting around this was that James really wanted to sign but he missed the deadline cause hes an aloof mfer thats more interested in strip clubs.

Idk if I believe that.

But I do think he resigns cause hes burnt too many bridges, and is starting to be defined as a mfer who left 3 teams in 2 seasons.

Shoulda stayed in houston where if nothing else he could do whatever he wanted and the fans wouldnt criticize

James is stuck in Philly for now. He's got a negative reputation at this point in his career.

His salary.
His work ethic.
His loyalty.
His age.
His big game performances.

I wanted Dame, not James.
Please, if you will brother O.G., explain how we were to get Dame without giving up maxey and thybulle, or Dame forcing his way out of Portland.

what you’re stating makes a lot of sense. Not too mention, I think the most money he can get is with Philly if he stays…..

I just don’t know if he will be good with the criticism if he under performs in the playoffs this season. In Houston they loved him and barely criticized him, Brooklyn pointed out a bit of stuff, but Philly is a different animal. Lmao. He fucks around and doesn’t show up in the playoffs they are gonna rip him to shreds.

I wouldn’t be surprised if James some how ends up in L.A. this off season. I know that’s a huge long shot, but…………

Damn....and I don't even blame him for leaving Brooklyn but he is looking bad out here right now. Not even a fan of him, but i am rooting for him in Philly.

Had about 50 points per game listed on our injury report last night, still kept it close. Humiliated the Heat on there home court back when we were at full health, 2-1 against them this season.

Bam’s 30 and 17 is watered down was missing one of our defensive anchors and had a rookie in the paint by hisself helping on other players all night. By the way shoutout to Evan Mobley.

No real incentive to sign the extension. He's gonna get a full max deal from someone regardless. All signing the extension would do so make life easier on philly.
