The Official MCU Thread

That shits crazy I only know her as shuri, dont think I've seen her in anything else. May have not recognized her tho if I did

Starpower

Bruh, Samuel L is the only A list star on that list. Brolin probably was there at some point, and Pratt is getting there, but you can't possibly believe that that particular list of people carried movies to those gross amounts.

I'm just glad the majority of that list is black

Kinda makes you wonder what white people did for entertainment before they let blacks have a piece of the pie.

Me and my oldest have about 3 episodes left in Runaways. Not the best show but it's aight. I hate pretty much every character because they are all selfish and entitled. But I guess that fits them being that they're rich brats.

THE BLACK KNIGHT Will Reportedly Be Connected To ANT-MAN AND THE WASP's Quantum Realm

Ant-Man and The Wasp might be even more important to the MCU than you think, as The Black Knight is reportedly on his way to the big screen, with his origin mysteriously connected to the Quantum Realm...

Back in September, it was revealed that Marvel might be thinking about making an all-new team-up movie, uniting Captain Britain and the Stan Lee and Dick Ayers-created Black Knight in a flick directed by Guy Ritchie (Sherlock Holmes, The Man From U.N.C.L.E.). While the rumored movie’s production was apparently set to start in November, Ain't It Cool News' report may not be completely false.

According to MCU Cosmic Founder Jeremy Conrad, Marvel Studios is actually thinking about bringing Dane Whitman to the big screen at some point in the future. Conrad even claims that Marvel already knows how to introduce this generally niche superhero and the key word is – The Quantum Realm.

Although Marvel Studios' Kevin Feige did emphasize The Quantum Realm's importance on numerous occasions, it truly might be the key to the MCU going forward, as it was introduced in 2015's Ant-Man and shown in its full glory in Ant-Man and the Wasp. Conrad also pinned a photo of the mysterious city hidden in the Microverse, suggesting it was much more than just a simple Easter Egg in AM&TW.

It’s unclear if Marvel is still developing that rumored Captain Britain and The Black Knight film, but it looks like fans of this old-school hero wielding the powerful Ebony Blade can look forward to the future. Still, you should keep in mind that it’s just a rumor and nothing has been officially confirmed regarding the appearance of The Black Knight (and Captain Britain) in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Today, Twenty-First Century Fox shareholders got quite a surprise. Their shareholder letter now has The Walt Disney Company letterhead (see below). This comes after initial reports that Disney’s $71.3 billion acquisition of Fox was near the finish line, followed by weeks of media silence.

Last year, Disney had already received conditional approvals from both the European Union and U.S. regulators. Back in July 2018 shareholders from both companies approved all proposals related to the acquisition, but no solid date was set for the close. Disney CEO Bob Iger previously stated that “it could take up to 12 months for the acquisition to close,” while President of Fox Peter Rice said to employees, ” The company will be logistically ready to close on Jan. 1.”

It now looks like the January 1, 2019 date was more in line with the actual acquisition timeline. The Disney-Fox acquisition marks an incredible shift in the entertainment industry and there will definitely be more news about it in the coming months. Stay tuned.

I wonder if there’s enough time to at least sneak in an after credit scene to introduce the X-men or Fantastic Four
