What the f**k is Powell suppose to do? Not raise rates? Trump is so stupid.
There was a time where you'd get 8 hikes in a year. Now when you get one hike, the stock market throws a tantrum and drops 500 points. Rates have been low for way too long regardless of what anyone says, and they're still low.
If we get another recession, the fed wont have much wiggle room to save the markets next time. We still need another 2 or 3 hikes imo, but the whole sytsem is built on cheap money and debt which not true capitalism. Powell is doing the right thing.
