The national pundits have begun to take notice of how many options the Bulls will have open to them in coming years.
“They have cleaned up their act and they’re doing it intelligently,” ESPN’s Kevin Arnovitz said on
Zach Lowe’s podcast. “Looking at them, they have got just a ton of space, some really interesting young players.”
Lowe was in lock-step with Arnovitz’ assessment.
“Their discipline has been rewarded,” he said. “They were smart. They were the team that was absolutely most on the ball looking at that spike and those contracts and saying they are going to be bad contracts and they didn't want any part of them. And they were right. Like I said, we’ll see what happens in the next draft and this July, but they’re going to be a really interesting team for the next two years.”
“The elephant in the room is Anthony Davis,” Arnovitz told Lowe. “I just think the Bulls have created a ton of space. If AD doesn’t stay in New Orleans, where does he go?”
