2026 NBA Offseason Thread

Hate posting before the season even starts bcuz a 42 year old vet didn't wanna rebound for Bam & Giannis is a sickness. Go outside and get some sunshine on yo face.

The east is gonna be a dog fight. I think kawhi just being in the room is gonna raise the compete level and I think most of the guys are built to meet the moment. From different interviews and pressers from summer league training they all seem to understand how kawhi unlocks the roster and the potential they have to just cause chaos on the court.

Gonna be interesting to watch scottie. He hit another gear in the playoffs we weren't exactly sure he had in him but he definitely has IT. Which is important to know going forward.

We just gotta see how much Adam silver is gonna screw us for being screwed over and we can get this shit rolling. Hoping its a 25 game suspension at worst.

But yeah top 6 is my range as well. 3 to 7 range depending on what happens with kawhi.

Only thing that’s guaranteed in the east imo is the worst teams being

Bucks
Bulls
Hornets or Wizards
Nets

and the cool thing is, none of these teams are really bad teams

Just can’t compete imo

But nah that seems like a bs excuse. That employee was told to make that presser. Thats not something you create on a whim. No way they predicted when he would sign almost 2 weeks out. They were instructed to do that. They just leaked it by accident.

I think people were caught up in the story of them winning moreso than giving the props as a great team because they were....almost like how Toronto doesnt get their props for being arguably the best post season defense ever

Of course going from Mitch to Drummond is a massive drop off and they probably need to be looking for another center but if thats your biggest problem you're in great shape

The reason why I'm worried if I'm every other team is because Knicks were a good team in the season, started the playoffs rough, changed their whole offense around and became one of the most elite post season teams ever.

Now you telling me I get an off season to actually implement that offense? And I get a bunch of players who are super bought in cause just a few days of practicing that offense let them win a ring?

And now Mike Brown and the staff can start adding more complicated actions to that offense?

I would be scared as shit if I'm the conference

Only way the Hawks are a factor like that is if Jalen Johnson takes a huge leap

He kind of got exposed in the playoffs and showed he still has a ways to go and tbh idk if he'll ever really be that guy and should be probably be your 2nd or 3rd best player

Can’t be your main option (regular season is diff though) and can’t defend

Not scared of CJ McCollum, Lu Dort, Dyson Daniels, Devin Carter, Keaton Wallace, NAW, Ryan nembhard, Buddy Hield, Vit Krecj and Kispert because they have no idea how they are going to juggle those guys

Im holding out hope for Detroit that they don't go into next season with John Collins as their second best offensive player but this is Trajan Langdon ran operation and he's doing exactly what hes always done
