99% glazing for views from Americans, and its working. Check youtube. Bunch of July 4th "reactions" to clips not even on July 4th lol. Or them just sitting there possibly telling fake stories like this, "Yea i woke up, came outside drinking coffee and a stranger came up took it out my hand and replaced it with a beer!! I love this place! (I didnt make that one up). All the Boomers and old Gen X'ers are eating it up.

Nah, I get it, but I do believe it's possible that most of their engagement from that time has been coming from Americans and they're playing to that audience now. I could be wrong, but that's what it seems like.
 
I mean, you can kind of tell what are real reviews and what are just pandering. What are real reactions to what arr fake reactions.

I get culture shock when I go to different countries. Big time when I went to costa Rica. I just aint post my videos online.

Facts, every time I go out of the country, I run into a bunch of things that seem much better there than in America.

Honestly, it's some grass is greener on the other side stuff. I imagine every country seems perfect when you only take it in a week at a time and only see the best it has to offer.
 
I think I said something about this in another thread: Kinda wild to think that the entirety of Europe (minus Russia) can fit inside of the US with room to spare. And until someone from outside of the US points it out, I really don't think many of us really get just how different each state really is if you've never really traveled or lived outside of your birthplace.

This has been a pushback I've had with Euros for years. They always consider themselves so well traveled because most of them to travel throughout the EU at some point in their lives. They don't understand that Americans can do the same thing they do and stay in the US. They also don't understand how different the cultures in the U.S. are. The U.S. doesn't have the historical diversity that Europe does of course, but I'd say we have a comparable cultural diversity. Barring language, California, Lousiana, and Maine are probably close to being as different as France, Spain, and Germany culturally.

Plus, I don't think they really get just how large some of these states really are. To drive from London, England to Berlin, Germany the shortest route you can take is ~680 miles and takes you across the English Channel to get to France, through Belgium, and to Germany where you'll drive almost to the far eastern point of the country to get to Berlin. Meanwhile, You could drive from the northernmost part of Texas or California to its' southern point and would have traveled that same distance or more. For all that, you can even cross a body of water driving from Luna Pier, just south of Detroit, to Houghton, Michigan which is only 100 miles short of that distance (~580 miles) and you never leave the state.
