Joe got the package stolen. And then made the grave mistake of introducing Marlo to the Greeks as a make good.

The Greeks clocked all of that and saw the winds of change.

Marlo was content with the corners he had, he didn't want a war with Avon. Opportunities just kept falling in his lap to keep getting bigger.

The confidential informant they were referring to was Frank Sobotka.


He was the one snitching to the feds about the Greek.

The Greek's inside man in the FBI tipped him off about Sobotka, and that's when the Greek had Sobotka killed.
