The mystery surrounding influencer Ashlee Jenae's death has officially come to a close ... because authorities in Tanzania have ruled the 31-year-old died by suicide days after getting engaged.
Police say the investigation is now complete after Ashlee -- whose real name was Ashly Robinson -- was found unconscious inside her villa at a luxury resort in April during what was supposed to be a birthday getaway with fiancé Joe McCann.
The Tanzania Police Force says a hotel employee entered Ashlee's villa during a routine evening check after getting no response at the door and found her hanging inside a wardrobe. Investigators say she was suspended from the closet's clothing rail using a robe belt the hotel provides for guests.
Initial documents from April listed her immediate cause of death as cerebral hypoxia caused by strangulation and suffocation.
Investigators had said the incident stemmed from a heated conversation at the hotel where the couple was staying days before Ashlee’s death.
As TMZ previously reported, after a disagreement, Joe and Ashlee separated into different hotel rooms. Joe later told authorities he found Ashlee after she had "hanged herself on the door" the following day. She was rushed to a hospital, where she died April 9.
That it always showsWhat part isn’t true?
^^^Maybe it’s best to wait until more details come out before jumping to conclusions.
Lead singer of Linkin Park
Ah, gotcha.That it always shows
Investigation saying she committed suicide. I don't really care if you believe she was murdered or committed suicide but depression does not always show
It doesn'tAh, gotcha.
Yeah you're just wrong on this one. Depression ALWAYS shows up. It might not show up how you expect it to show up - with a person moping around pouting, being sad, etc - but it always shows up. Sometimes it's their excessive drinking that you write off as them being young and living their life to their fullest. Or the fact that they dread getting out of bed, that you just write off as soothing else. Or the fact that they seem to have disconnected from all their friends, that you just write off as them being locked in on a specific goal and not having time to socialize like they used to. Or they might have difficulty focusing or difficulty making decisions or they make sure to overload their schedule in an attempt to keep busy and avoid whatever they're struggling with, etc, etc, etc.
It ALWAYS shows up. Any mental health professional will tell you the same thing.
Salute though.
Evidence that I could present in the court of law?You have evidence that proves otherwise?
