Season would've been way better if they just kept it to Rue and Nate/Cassie/Maddie to a certain extent

I really don’t care about Cassie and Maddie either lol
 
I disagree. Every series finale is getting the same treatment. I heard it for The Boys and now this. You won't satisfy everyone. It's not like all the beats in the finale worked for me. But Zendaya and Colman Domingo did enough for me to enjoy it

 
I don't think it was worse than GoT or Stranger Things but the direction they went with Nate was odd. His personality and all changed. You can say he grew up from high school but still

Jules basically being an afterthought this whole season was interesting too. Especially going to the wedding of the guy that blackmailed you into lying to the cops about some other guy or Nate tells the police you sent underage nude pics. A lot of season 1 and 2 were of the dynamic relationship between Jules and Rue
 
Yeh they completely neutered the fuck outta Nate lol can call it karma but the shift in character was insanely drastic

You coulda done without Jules all season and it wouldn’t have made any difference. Very useless inclusion of her this season.

Is it really a shift? Nate always came off as a coward to me. He'd only get brolic on girls. Fez bitched him out in front of everyone

Lol he didnt even get brolic on Cassie really at any point this season. The closest he got to being kinda the old Nate was the initial Only Fans conversation which he ended up caving into what she wanted.

Like someone said maybe there was just a natural maturity thing that happened between the last time we saw them in high school to the present timeline. But dude was deadass like the main villain of Euphoria up until this season lol went from a total dickhead to being a complete pushover. Even the fact that after HS he becomes a struggling realtor. I understand he was running his dad’s business but damn was that really the trajectory we saw for him? lol
 

Why does Bishop betray Alamo?​

Bishop didn’t agree with a lot of what Alamo did, but it was a job for him. I think what Alamo did to Rue was the final straw for Bishop. He’s also having that conversation with Maddy in the car. Rue was a bridge too far, and he’s like, “I promise I’m not going to let you get to Maddy.”

That’s interesting because it doesn’t seem like Bishop cares that much about Rue, at least in the way he behaves toward her.​

There are a million different ways to look at it, from a character standpoint. It plays like he doesn’t care, but if you look deep enough, there are moments of Bishop being like a big brother who is hard on her. You know those figures in your life who are like, “Don’t hang out with those people. Those are not good people. You shouldn’t be here.” The way Sam wrote it is up to interpretation. He gives it space for it to be seen however people want to see it.
