Again, you just proved my earlier point about you, even while thinking you had me in some crazy lie. Let me break it down for you since you clearly have some sorta tism or ism.

Someone said Chief Keef released no music since he left Chicago. I and other posters disagreed. Someone posted how many projects he's released since then, and I posted what his last project did and showed it got decent numbers(especially for an indie). Nothing about what was said had anything to do with comparing current streaming records to past album sales records.

Nothing you posted proved i had a different opinion on comparing streaming records now, to past records where people had to buy physical copies, you angry fanned out dork.

I could careless about the context you said to post you doing a thing and I did. No one said you had a different opinion on comparing streaming records now the the past. I said...

And the next time someone yall favor over drake does well you niggas will prop up the same numbers and magically forget these shit takes.

You told me to post a quote of you doing that. I ignored you then you cussed me out. I posted it now you're moving the goalposts and cussing me out. We can just move on lol.

To rap nerd out for a sec I wish he would’ve flipped or repurposed his last line from Where to Now off Comeback Season.

And, man, if '09 is when I'ma see mine
Being cool ain't enough, homie; I'ma freeze time, like that!

Was listening to that yesterday and was like damn that’s a full circle moment

Now hes the victim and im just in here randomly cursing him out lol

Just hitting all the Drake fan stereotypes single handedly. This is unreal

Day 1 Timberland aka Mr AI was the first to say this song is going to take off

Fat Joe should have called Khaled out on the many failed attempts on promoting the album without any Drake features instead

PS I totally agree with Jada

Wait a minute Iceman only did 13k in pure sales? :ohshit2:

I’ll be back
For whatever reason his never make physical copies anymore.

But the album is being played everywhere.

My phone had died when I was driving two days ago and didn’t have my car charger and I actually heard the radio play two of his songs in 1 hour. I was stunned lolololol

Heard 3 tracks of GNX during that time too

People are trying to make it a thing but its not a thing. Drake didn't drop a bundle, he didn't drop a vinyl or cd and he dropped 3 separate albums at once.

Niggas aren't listening to the gnx or casino vinyls, they're souvenirs to 90% of the people that purchased them. Niggas don't own record players, niggas barely own cd players to play Jcole shit. The majority of those same people streamed those albums.

Most people probably weren't interested on purchasing 3 albums at the same time. Not everyone got it like that, not in this economy. Logical thinking says most people that purchased probably just bought the album they liked or wanted to hear the most.

13k iceman
6k habibti
6k maid of honour

25k ACTUAL pure digital album sales. Not paper weights.

Fort Worth and Prioritizing have went double platinum on the AirPods these last two days

I feel them tracks heavy

“Because it did”

To clarify for everyone so we can skip the gaslighting: physical sales—even if an album is available for purchase during release week—do not count toward pure sales until the product actually ships. So, for an apples to apples comparison, here are the pure sales figures for albums that did not have first-week physicals or bundles:

Drake
  • ICEMAN: 13,000 pure sales
  • FATD: 10,000 pure sales
  • Her Loss: 12,000 pure sales
  • Honestly, Nevermind: 11,000 pure sales
Kendrick Lamar
  • GNX: 32,625 pure sales
  • Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers: 35,000 pure sales
Other Artists
  • SZA – SOS: 10,000 pure sales
  • GloRilla – Glorious: 13,000 pure sales
  • Roddy Ricch – Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial: 3,000 pure sales

I also think these numbers are more indicative of the type of fanbase an artist has. Drake's core audience tends to skew younger and generally has less disposable income. As a result, they're more likely to stream an album heavily but less likely to see value in purchasing it outright.

Kendrick's fanbase, on the other hand, tends to skew older, more career-oriented, and more invested in the music as a cultural experience. That often translates into stronger pure sales, even if the streaming totals are a bit lower.
