Man shit this is a good show. Like I said in another thread, feels like a modern New Jack City if Nino was a heist man, but amped up with the action.

A lot of really intriguing twists and turns and complicated interpersonal relationships and motivations.

I was pissed at that ending though! I thought they were going to wrap this shit up. Can’t wait for the next season so I guess that was the plan.

I'm getting the feeling more so Heat than New Jack and GTA 5 Bank because of the heist. Regardless I fuck with this heavy the cop guy seems to over acting in certain scenes but that's a minor ding far as the series right now

I'm on Ep 6 btw

Yeah I expected much worse from dude. Usually light skin pretty boy types can’t act for shit lol. He was actually ok in this.

Best actor of course is Y’lan Noel. He’s a Kappa too so much props to him.

Yeah the son was pissing me off, mainly because I have teenagers and they swear they know everything lol.

Isaiah was wildin’ at times but he was right about Coltrane, keeping his son from his pops, and everything. His only real bad decision was fucking with the cartel.
 
It took a minute to get going but once I started caring about the characters and various storylines I was all in. It becomes very involving. All of the actors do a great job especially my wife in another life Cleopatra Coleman. It was great to see so many great character actors. I can definitely tell the writers and producers are big fans of the ultimate crime drama 1995's Heat.

Light skin cat trying was over acting with the hard language. Still not Tyler Perry terrible but not the best. I still fuck with this series hope it gets a season 2
