They feel powerful, but if all these places close up shop citing them. Its not going to go good for them at all. The main issue is it was take a lil time and idk if these owners all have the money for that.

From their vantage point if the places closes then South Africans will replace them

There seems to be an underlying resentment in seeing their government show favor to foreigners while most of the citizens are struggling.


Since they can't come after the government like that, they're choosing to take their anger out on the outsiders.


Something similar is happening in Mexico.

They're upset because so many people from the U.S. are moving there that it's driving up the prices and cost of living.
