actually after looking at it, he’s slightly overpaid

But it’s not enough for it to be an issue

Should be more in the $26-$28 mil range at most
 
Also as far as what I said about the 3rd best player thing, that’s on a contending team

Not this current Cavs team

Cavs investing that much into their front court between him and Mobley and struggling to get out of the first round



I was going to say the same thing...Hartenstein is at like 28

Yeah I was looking at hartenstein but what really changed my mind was looking at Zubac

And going by that standard as they are relatively close in talent, Allen shouldn’t be making $12 mil more than him

But diff situations and teams and contracts were probably signed at diff times
 
I was also disgusted to find out Hartenstein’s salary too lol

Luckily his deal is up

He better get ready for that 18 mil contract somewhere else

I feel like unless you are absolutely elite, Im not trying to pay my starting center antthing more than 20ms lol

I know thats not how the league works though

Like all 3 of the guys we're talking about are valuable and do the things I want my center to do....but paying these guys mid 20s and high 30s is crazy lol

Yeah if you’re not Towns, Wemby, Jokic, Bam or Embiid it should be illegal for you to make more than…25 mil

There’s no center that can do what those do so they should make less

Gobert is kind of an exception because he’s one of the best defensive players ever

I could eat paying him $30 mil but nothing over that
