Self Vibing....what are you listening to?



It was some what early, I was on my way

Just stumbled on this. Never heard this before and I got albums by most of these cats playing, but mostly been a Jean-Luc Ponty fan since I was 18.

 


I've been in an resurgence of R&B music era lately. I've been in my bag to bring it back to the front. This is what I'll call a morning sounding song. Music like this I can bump in the morning

This has a lo-fi vibe to it and I'm diggin' it. That might have to be the way R&B comes back, 'cause I've been hearing more stuff along these lines lately:




I think I posted this a month or two ago and while a bit more uptempo, it's got that whole vibe to it as well:

I gotta add those 2 track to my playlist. The lo-fi sound had me engaged for about 3 years. That's when I started to notice R&B might be in route of a comeback again. I'm about to make an appreciation thread towards it. I was going to make it this morning, but I got caught up in the lab. I'll probably make it tomorrow morning. The artists in that genre sound are all dope.

A huge part of my listening taste from about mid-2018 until maybe a couple of years ago was lo-fi, mostly centered around the Chillhop and LoFi Girl labels. I still listen to it a lot, but not as much, but I do have a good amount of it in the ride and in my home CD changer
