Coaching staff has a lot to figure out between now and game 2
 
I wouldn't say its all doom and gloom for the Pistons yet.

Just win the next game and reset and they should still win the series in 5 or 6.

But if they lose the next one, then I don't see them going into Orlando and winning 2

For now I don't see the Pistons being in a bad place yet. They facing some adversity early in the lowest stakes possible for now.

Probably works out for them in the long run.

The problem for Detroit is their receipe for success in this series is hope Cade goes crazy every game and/or Orlando's offense is in struggle mode

Magic have multiple players who can get going and have the size to be just as physical if not more than the Pistons


Not a lot that the Pistons can go to

If I had to bet though, I would bet Orlandos offense does go on struggle mode at least 3 games this series, if not 4. That doesn't mean they will lose all those games. But I ain't betting shit on Magics offense staying good.

And then I would say Cade def goes crazy enough to win twice.

Pistons are definitely a flawed team. I didn't have them going deep in the playoffs regardless of the first round.

They are the most you got to prove it to me team of actual contenders.

But I still don't think it's doom and gloom against the Magic.

All due respect to pistons fans like ghost but let me say this and this isn’t because of game 1

Pistons are a fraudulent #1 seed. In the postseason not the regular season

They had a phenomenal year and it should be praised and most of the praise goes to the MVP type play from Cade and all nba level play from Duren

However, due to all the tanking and weird shit going on with the east outside of like the top 4 seeds, this allowed them to be the #1 seed

So because of that they are the most beatable top 4 seed these playoffs when everyone is healthy (lakers)

They could lose a series to any lower seeded team except the Sixers and raptors

That’s also why I said the Heat could beat them

They just don’t have the horsepower

They can play some stellar defense and muck games enough to pull games out but I don’t think they can do that for 2 rounds of the playoffs
