1st and foremost and the most important thing on a slave mind in 1864-1865 was their freedom, in which they were waiting on a nay or yay for the abolishment of it...

Slaves in rebelling states occupied by the North were green in 1863. Besides just being free from slavery they wanted education which lead to HBCUs. So yes in 1865 they were thinking about more than just ending slavery

But even it was a single issue, that issue changed the entire country and economy and a whole bunch of shit.

Where are your sources that told you that slaves were green in 1863? I would like to read them?

Definitely wasn’t the slaves. There wasn’t some massive uprising that forced Lincoln’s hand.

Which is why I always find it funny when people think black people alone can get what black people need. We can be the catalyst for sure, for example with civil rights, but someone in power has to pull the trigger. And people pushing for reparations always shit on those in power instead of trying to convince them it’s needed with detailed reasoning and demands. lol you know Black Americans aren’t the only black group with reparations movement. I haven’t seen any foreign related poster ask for US slavery reparations. If anything they would ask Spain or the UK. Unless the US did something to that country.

If you (a white person) needs the black vote to get into office, how are you going to get it??

If you need 20 black people to win (this is an example) and all 20 tell you, no check, no vote.....you lose right. The rep wins the seat


The next (white person runs) Dem, and he or she needs 20 black people to win the seat and they tell him or her, no check no vote... and he gets washed in the election.


What do you think the 3rd person that will need the 20 black people vote to win....

I meant to type free instead of green. The emancipation proclamation signed in 1863 freed slaves in rebelling states. It’s a typo man damn lol
