That is a lot longer than staying in these cheaply built homes now a days. You can have a underground bunker built to keep hidden.

I go camping every year. Tent camping. Even have a camping bag. I already have a lot of survival gear. Even did a back packing trip. Talking bout hiking in the woods for miles with 20-40 pounds on your back through inclines and declines. I does this.

I might not be quick or can run any type of distance right now, but I walk 3-5 miles every saturday and sunday in the wilderness, meaning over uneven terrain.

My 25 year old Escape fits the bill. 3.0L Duratec V6 with 4WD. It goes off road and can tow a shitload of weight.

Then you're pretty much handcuffed to the stock pile.

And if for any reason you have to go on the move you gotta find a balance between ammo and other supplies.

You willing to sacrifice days of food to carry more ammo?

Not saying don't have guns.. But there's a lotta things to consider, especially when resources become limited.
 
I learned living in Alaska to always have a bug out bag.

Plus I keep, candles, waterproof matches, flint, water filters, first aid kits, radios, etc. my pantry is always stacked with canned and dry foods (got to reup my MRE’s) as well as bottled water.

I’m not gonna even get into the fun stuff in the safes. Lmao.

gotta homie in Corpus who has his stuff together pretty decent also. Black folks need to get it together with things like this. Tons of white folks prep like this. I rarely know our folks to be or have shit like this stashed

Bruh, if I were to whittle it down to just my .22LR pistol and rifle, and only take those, I could carry 7000+ rounds and it wouldn't have much of an effect on what else I could bring. I'd only need 5 of these:

I could fit 10 of these in just the passenger foot well of my ride and still have space.

If I were to move up to my .22 magnum pistol and rifle, that also happen to use the same 30rd magazines, I'll lose some capacity for more power and greater flexibility, however:

125rds fits in a carton smaller than a 12oz can. I already have 10 unopened cartons of ^^^ this stuff plus an additional 15-20 50rd boxes, which themselves are pretty small.

I also have two pistols that shoot 9mm and a rifle that shoots it as well. As with going from .22lr to .22WMR, going to 9mm I'd definitely lose the ability to carry as many rounds, but can still carry a formidable amount of ammo in just the foot well of the front passenger seat in the ride.

You wouldn't sacrifice much in the way of space carrying a fairly sizeable amount of ammo if you're smart about what you decide to carry.

One of my old friends just put me on to those a couple of months ago. Hopefully I land this new gig I interviewed for today 'cause I plan on grabbing a bunch of those among other survivalist-type things.
