I do think you're vastly mistaken. But if you feel it would be simple to just make more ammo with limited resources..... Then I hope by all means you're good enough at it to survive.

Naw, im leaving. Im too close to dc. If this would happen now, I would just have to go to them. A 45min bike ride on the trails would do. Walking might be 1h30min if I were to guess. Assuming if roads are backed up

As much as you hike, you should be good. I'm sure the woods would be much more safe to travel than the roads. I could be wrong. But that's where I would take my chances.

That would be to get to my parents. Stay together and make moves together. I would head for a less populated area

People usually have stockpiles of the stuff of their own. Then you just reuse your shells. It's been helpful since ammo prices went up
