I said it in the Kendrick vs Drake thread, and I will say it again. Diss records are dead after Not Like Us. If the beefs ain't personal on some real bad blood shit, they won't matter.

I look at any nigga moving forward dropping diss records as clout chasers. Also, these niggas are 40+ years old. At that age, you shouldn't give a fuck about what the next nigga thinks about you.

Because a battle can also just be about "im better than you". It don't gotta be a blood feud in order to produce good music. Setting the ending of all rap beefs at Kendrick and NLU and calling everything after clout chasing doesn't make sense. Especially since a key component of rap music is telling niggas how much better of a rapper you are than them.

To me a battle and a diss record are two different things. Imo a battle is about displaying your skill. Diss songs imo should be personal bcuz the shit you say in a diss, you might not be able to recover from.

I have to cut this convo short bcuz I have really been struggling to type the last coupe of days and I'm tired of editing my posts.

Ok. I see the difference in those two things. On that I would agree a diss is more personal than a battle.

im addressing the comment part, but thats literally twitter ever since Elon took it over. Everything is bots for everyone, its insane and annoying as fuck.

I doubt 50 or TI would pay for bot comments on twitter, but i wouldnt put it past a lame fan to. This goes for everyone, w/e side ur on for whatever topic. Its to the point i look for other sites to get info on a post.
