Official Wrestling News Thread

do you have a recent example of this?
not saying you’re wrong but what I noticed is wwe taking too long to pull the trigger on new/up and coming stars. they build and build and build…and nothing really happens

brock, angle, taker, styles, and bianca were all belted up within one year after debuting on the roster. had they debuted under this regime today, they would have to wait until 2029
Giulia is the first person that comes to mind. They did her no service by taking the hype she had coming in, making no other plans than to belt her up, and expect everyone to buy into her.

Motor City Machine Guns is another one for a recent example. One of the most beloved tag teams in wrestling that no one imagined would be in the WWE, let alone tag champions, and WWE not only failed to create any angle to capitalize on the shock value, but they use MCMG to block another beloved team's big break (Street Profits). Now its hard to care about any of these teams because the WWE only cares about the money shot for the most part.

But yeah, its weird that now the WWE isn't even cashing in on their own talent. Its like someone is mad that people are over on their own or because the fans said so.

WWE Hall of Famer Fred Ottman aka Typhoon, The Shockmaster and Tugboat, among other ring names, revealed he has been in the hospital for the last 30 days after his "gall bladder exploded." Ottman noted that his wife was told that had he not come into the hospital, just a day later he may not have been here. Ottman said that he's been on his back for a month and has lost a lot of muscle mass, but is learning to walk again and will be released this Monday to go home and continue his physical rehab. The situation forced him to have to go on dialysis because of the poison released into his system from the gall bladder but he is lucky it is not a permanent situation. Ottman noted he will need a surgery later in the month to take a drainage bag out. He said he was lucky he had such a great wife, family and friends. Ottman said he's been pushing to get better and will do it one day at a time.

lol I saw it and thought the same but I think he doing it because they were or still are planning to do Logan vs Bunny at some point.

Overnight, there were reports online that Bron Breakker underwent surgery for a hernia.

This morning, PWInsider.com independently confirmed those reports are accurate.

We are told that Breakker was hurt during last Monday's Raw when he flipped the table over.

We are also told that by Wednesday 2/4, it was determined he was going to require a surgery for a hernia.

Breakker is officially off the road while he recovers.

We are told there is currently no timetable for his return at this moment.

As noted over the weekend, Chelsea Green was hurt during Smackdown and pulled off this past Saturday's AAA TV taping.

Green posted photos of a badly bruised ankle and of needing to be in a walking boot.

In asking around this morning, the belief within WWE is that Green suffered a bad sprain but did not break her foot or ankle.

There is no word how long she will be out of action.
