South ain't winning shyt. And I'm from there. A lot of muthafuccas lack the intellectual aptitude to even understand what's going. They'd spend their time fighting amongst themselves.

Plus...where the money coming from to fund this? Mississippi?

lol.gif

As much as I wanna say the Midwest...I think it would be the West. I believe the west has the most gun owners and 3 of the most violent states are in the West too.

A lot of these places that people think would do ok because they have gangs and other violent groups would probably fall fast. It doesn't matter if you have a lot of weapons and killers if you're as likely to kill each other as you are the common enemy.

If I had to guess, I'd say the South especially if you include TX. Reason being that the South as a region has a greater concentration of military bases and personnel than anywhere else in the country. That means more high level weaponry and more people trained for combat. California has the highest number of bases of any state, so the West Coast isn't lacking there. That said I believe most of those bases are Air Force and Navy. If we're talking boots on the ground type combat, the Army and Marines are who you have to worry about and more of them are in the Southeast.

Dead at northern Cali and Oregon: "This part wouldn't be that tough"
Yall gotta quit playing:

California is profoundly important to the United States, acting as an economic, technological, and agricultural powerhouse that drives national growth. With a GDP exceeding $4 trillion (as of 2024), it represents roughly 14.5% of the total U.S. economy, ranking as the world's fifth-largest economy if it were a sovereign nation. [1, 2, 3]

Key areas of California's, or the "Golden State's", national importance include:
  • Economic Dominance: It leads the nation in manufacturing, agriculture, and high-tech sectors, and has the highest number of Fortune 500 companies.
  • Technology Hub: Silicon Valley is home to global tech leaders in artificial intelligence (35 of the top 50 AI companies) and innovation, holding a quarter of the country's patents.
  • Agriculture & Trade: California produces the highest agricultural output in the U.S., with over 90% of American wine and vast amounts of produce. Its ports (LA/Long Beach) handle nearly 40% of all containerized imports to the U.S..
  • Cultural & Political Influence: As the most populous state, it shapes national entertainment (Hollywood) and environmental, climate, and tech regulations.
  • Military Significance: It holds the highest number of active-duty service members. [2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8]
Beyond its economic and industrial clout, California serves as a primary gateway for U.S.-Asia trade, cementing its critical role in global supply chains and national security. [5, 6, 9, 10]

Importance is meaningless in this convo. Northern Cali would prolly fold like a napkin if it was ever attacked. SoCal is different tho.

The richest state. The most populous state. The most active duty servicemen.

And that's just in California. The west region amongst other accolades is home to the fittest state in Colorado. The South literally makes up the entirety of the fattest populations in the Union.

Richer, more military, more military bases, more fit population, more technology. Yall getting washed.

The south and midwest also have the the most insanely armed citizens of any part of the country. I have 3 rifles, 4 handguns, and thousands of rounds of ammo of various calibers at the ready and I'm considered a flyweight compared to a lot of folks out here and them good ole boys down south. Shit, one of my boys got 8 AR's (rifles and pistols), 3 AR-like shotties, something like 7-8 handguns, and maybe 3-4 times the amount of ammo I have and even he doesn't hold a candle to some of the shit I've seen.

But that ain't what that map you quoted was even talking about. It was just pointing out, jokingly so, what an external army would face if they tried to invade any part of this country and Norcal/Oregon would probably be their easiest target.

Lol I don't think GDP matters in this context

If you're referring to my post, although it would be a factor, GDP is not what I had in mind.

The combined military might of those 3 countries (and I guess you could throw in North Korea too) would systematically destroy a fractured U.S.
