Netflix Stranger Things

That was a great ass finale. They definitely landed this shit. If they had released all of the episodes at one or each episode weekly the reception would have been better. All shows have a lull at the 5-7 mark then shit hits the fan in the final 2 episodes.

I kept wondering why even bring back Kali cause they could have written around everything she was involved with. But the story at the end with Kali helping El disappear made a lot of sense. It could only have been her. And it also made sense because of course they were using those sound machines which wouldn’t have let El bring Mike into her mind. She couldn’t have been standing in that spot using her powers. I just wish they would have shown Mike finding El in that village.
 
And I’m not mad at the final fight at all. You had everybody there; a powered up Will, a stronger El, a Vecna that was questioning his ties to the Mind Flayer, Rambo Nancy, etc.

The epilogue was a bit long but needed for a show like this. You talking about 5 seasons with a lot of nostalgia and heart. Couldn’t just cut that shit short. People need time to decompress and sort all of the emotions out. The call backs to prior episodes were really heart felt, especially when Joyce was chopping off Vecna’s head and you remember these kids done been through some shit.

Definitely one of the best series to come out.
 
That was def Mike's dead wife montage. First, he wasn't with them so how would he know Kali's plan to do that? Hopper would have reacted differently(or tipped the audience off somehow) if he knew she was just faking her death to get out of there.

Secondly, all of Kali's constructs faded away when interacted with. El hugged multiple people after Kali died. I see why Millie Bobby Brown hated that ambiguous ssa ending. Someone who yearned for family, friends, and togetherness ended up in the middle of nowhere alone having to start all over

Duffer brothers suffered the same thing as the GOT writers. They got focused on money grabs and side projects they forgot to focus on the main quest

Kali didn’t die during that scene with Hopper. She stayed alive long enough to project the image of El standing in the upside down into everyone’s minds while also making it so they couldn’t see El slip away.

El couldn’t have brought Mike into her mind with those machines blocking her powers, so she had to be somewhere else.

So her interacting with people was real and the trick didn’t start until the military stopped them at Hawkins.

And GOT level writing would have been Nancy defeating Vecna in a one on one fight instead of El.

So she didn't die from a gunshot wound to the stomach until AFTER they defeated Vecna and the Mind Flayer, then drove back into the real world? How do you know this?

Yeah I’m not saying that made perfect sense, but that was the story. And given the other shit I mentioned, along with her doing the exact same trick with Vecna and the kids, it makes sense in the context of this story.
 
was will free from Vecna when they were killing him? He felt nothing, but prior to that he was feeling what Henry was in his memory
 
El didn’t even need an allusion she could of just popped out of another closed gate and ended somewhere and had the same effect,

El ain’t fast enough to hit the gate like that especially without out powers and with it she’s still kinda slow will theory is what’s happened
 
Fuck it imma believe Mike .It might not have went down the way he said, but my girl 11 she gonna be back by the time I’m ready for dentures and a cane

We've never really seen mindflayer take over anyone tho.
Mindflayer and vecna were joined in mind and physical. Vecna/henry basically said that was his choice he wasn't forced he was just sick of niggas.

We really didn't have much info on the mindflayer because they spent 5 seasons on vecna and crammed the mindflayer into the last bit

I think their mistake was making mindflayer seem like a bigger bad than it was. Sort of like how GoT did the night king. Should have explained it more thoroughly so people didn't have an unrealistic expectation. I kinda already figured the mindflayer wasn't on shit. Like if you not coming through the upside down crushing buildings you not him. Just some evil spirit/entity Henry molded into a spider. So I wasn't mad at it getting gunned up and clapped quick by the group.
