He is a telekinetic that can move people and objects with his mind. When Holly was falling, he just telekinetically grabbed her.

Given that, is he basically levitating each demogorgon down to the upside down from the abyss? He’s never teleported anything in the physical realm.

There has to be a better way.

I think people were expecting a penultimate episode, revelation or consequence to come out of the 3 episodes that just dropped on christmas and it didn't really happen. I've enjoyed the season so far personally but I get the frustration if that was an expectation for you.

With 1 episode left I'll just say its overblown and niggas exhibiting ptsd from game of thrones but with 2hrs and change left it's gonna be a tough landing to stick. Some people are gonna be left upset/unsatisfied no matter what.

Mfs really wanted some of these kids to die lmaooooo.

I agree with this. I think they can still stick the landing with 2 hours left though.

I think the way they released the episodes screwed them. If this were a traditional binge release it would have been 9 episodes and these would have been 5-7. Then you would have gotten a crazy episode 8, a crazy first half of episode 9, then a second half of episode 9 that wraps everything up. Episode 8 and 9 would have made people forget how dull 5-7 was if it all paid off.

They had to set the table for the final battle though, especially since they just introduced a whole other dimension into the story.

Man for real. I think they did have to tie up some relationship based loose ends, and better to do it in these episodes than force it into the finale.

We got resolution with Nancy/Jonathan, Dustin/Steve, Robin/Vickie, Will/Closet, Lucas/Max, Will/Joyce, Hopper/11, etc.

Now they can just focus on Vecna and the action and whatever betrayal 8 is setting up cause I don’t trust 8 at all.

Actually Henry got sent to a void called the hellscape then the mind flayer turned him into Vecna .

We never specifically see them go from dimension x to the upside down , but I assume they do it like how they go to Hawkins.

Plus the mind flayer is very powerful

ok I missed that but before they said he was making her look for spies

So when she was looking for Henry she made contact with the demogorgan which created the upside down

Ain't none of these kids careers going anywhere besides the actors that play Mike and max. They'll be back to do another 2 seasons in 10-15 years anyway so this can end however it ends. Idgaf. It was a good ride.

She'll always be working cause she's connected but she's almost 30 and doesn't have any notable roles outside of stranger things. I don't really see a star future for her like that. D maybe C list actor at best imo. She doesn't give it up like her mom and dad did.

Maybe it doesn’t but however Vecna is doing it would be a lot better than waiting for the abyss to sit on top of the upside down. Especially with Will being able to tap into Vecna’s powers. Maybe he could tap in and do whatever Vecna is doing to get the team to the abyss.

End of the day, travel between dimensions is a major thing in this show and to not show how it happens between the abyss and upside down seems to be a missing piece.
