She was a minor character though. The show has said she's going to be a major character, and fan theories are going wild. She has a cool appeal in the books but was by far a minor character in the larger scale of things...

Much like Santiago in season 2. He was a minor character in the books, but a major antagonist of season 2. I was not expecting that and could effectively not spoil anything about him, cuz all of that was exclusive to the TV show.

Which is why her character is being listed at Gabriella instead of Gabrielle of the book. I feel like this will be a very amc unique character

I finished Season 1. Great writing, acting, character development. I knew there was more to "Rashid". I've never seen the actor who plays Lestat in anything else before but he killed this. Bailey Bass was awesome as Claudia (I'm aware the character was recast)

I said before that season 1 Claudia was perfect for that season and season 2 Claudie was perfect for that one. I don't see first season Claudia pulling off everything that happened in the second season.
