PLAYSTATION Death Stranding 2: On The Beach

Tried playing the first game today, I forgot what Kojima games were like.

this was GOTY for me. The graphics, presentation, music, combat and stealth and exploration. Story was decent overall, I followed it but there were some silly kojima hijinks.

I copped this game in June but had it on the shelf since but played through it the last few weeks.

Between this and the Avatar video game, those 2 are best looking games on console right now

Comments like this are what kept from getting this or the first one. I'm generally a fan of Kojima's stuff, but the reviews made me skeptical. The games look amazing, but commentary made it sound like a visually stunning hike w/o much action. I almost bought it earlier this week, but decided to gamble or some other titles.

Don't get me wrong it's a great game. I just hate all the boss fights for being clunky and kinda boring. Luckily there aren't too many of them.
