Even if you didn't know him, he was damn near the poster child for the me too movement.

His company's logo was on a ton of movies at the beginning of the film for a really long time. This isn't some low level YouTube producer.

I think the case has lost some of it's shine due to how long it's taken to convict him but that doesn't take away from the position he held in Hollywood for a long ass time.

If it makes you feel better, I would see that logo all the time and decided to lookup just who exactly it was and that's how I learned about him but I still didn't understand the pull he had prior to the accusations and that's ok

To you, if you think Cosby, Kelly, etc are black heroes, then you need better heroes imo
