No offense, but the bold is a dumbass response.

You're criticizing the phenotypic traits of a character because of how unlikely such a genetic expression would be in the real world even though this story takes place in a fictional world where the genetics are so wildly different that a single gene expression can result in everything from making a person's skin blue to giving that person the power to manipulate reality on a universal level.

Just take a step back and think about that for a second, and maybe you'll understand why you should have stopped a long time ago.
 
It's misplaced/pointless outrage. Fake would mean their feelings ain't real. But as has been said alot wilder shit has been done in comics. Tony Stark been a drunk, Spiderman got hoes in multiple universes, a white Black Panther actually ranks pretty low on the wild shit Marvel has done

So he’s a mutant or alien or supernatural, etc. That clarifies everything then.

But I digress and only continue because you’re attempting to insult my intelligence. Even in comics all of those genetic anomalies have a basis in the universe’s rules and are explained. In this story, on its face and based on limited background, none of those explanations are given. So we’re left to assume the basis is from real world logic, and hence why I think it’s dumb.

I'm not insulting your intelligence. If I thought you were stupid we wouldn't be having this conversation. I'd just chalk your comments up to you being stupid.

What more explanation do you think needs to be given? Blonde hair and blue eyes on a biracial African is not impossible. It's just very improbable. What I'm trying to get you to see is that something that is genetically improbable in the real world might be inconsequential in a fictional world where the scope of what's genetically possible is a thousand times bigger. Again, just think about it. An African in the Marvel universe is more likely to be a telepath than an African in the real world is to have blonde hair and blue eyes, so there really should be no expectation for genetic outcomes of minor shit like eye color and hair color to coincide between the two realities.

I think the better story , to me, would be if the kid was made from stollen DNA from tchalla. One of tchalla's arch enemies would use the kid to take ownership of the black panther powers and conquer wakanda.

Im not sure where the author is going with his story so it will be interesting to see.

This just shows how dumb things have gotten in the world today. A story where T'challa's son tries to take the throne from him shouldn't be that controversial regardless of skin tone.

I'm pretty sure he's dead in this issue and the son pops up. I'm definitely reading it later. My copy the comes in the mail isn't getting opened. Imma put it with my collection

Cool. I get your overall point, but given that logic of anything is possible, T’Challa could have sex with a white woman and produce a Skrull. And that would be dumb to me too. I know you’re not suggesting anything that extreme however.

Difference of opinion on the bounds fiction should operate under I guess.
