If Fico dies, the Slovakian President designates the person with the majority of the delegates support and the government is made up of Russophile nationalist parties i.e., unlikely to support Ukraine.

The only outcome of that would be martyring Fico and creating more polarization to the benefit of the right-wing parties, making it less likely that the Slovakian government supports Ukraine.
